I just got done watching the game and I tell you guys something. Our kids looked really good in the first half.
Flint, Heydn and Hunter did awesome on the defensive side, our DB's contained very well and I am so proud of them, our coaches as well as the rest of the team.
The game was a thriller for sure If I have one regret and If I could do anything over on the offensive side, I would have gotten the ball to D. Bell a couple more times he is improving so much. Nice running little buddy!
We fought an up hill battle the second have, The ref's turned on us a little and it was evident but we fought thru it and persevered.
These kids are so inspiring, every one of them want to make big plays all the time and they are so excited to come back and share their last assignment with you in the huddle.
Parents and coaches, I wont lie I got so tight out there the last quarter I couldn't even think, my competitive side was watching us give up points and I was melting down. Thanks to Coach Freeman for giving me a break and calling a series for me.
Also thanks to Cade Berry for scoring on that last offensive series and making it easier for me to breath.
Once again, we have great and understanding parents and I am so glad to be a part of this team.
Lets keep winning and set the stage for next year.
